Hello world!

I had been talking with a close friend about posting some of my artwork online. I wasn't really a fan of blogging, but she finally made me create this little space of mine. I guess it is only fitting then that the first post goes to my first oil painting, completed in late December 2010.

That's how it looks like after framing up. 

Regarding the post title, I came from a computer engineering background. Back in university, the first assignment that every programming student made was to print these words "Hello world!" on the computer screen. I thought it's only fitting that I named my first post that as well.
